Installing Lanvista/inForm Publisher

1. From the command prompt, move to the directory that contains Lanvista-inForm-Installer-1.0.0.exe
   


2. Enter: Lanvista-inForm-Installer-1.0.0.exe



3. The installer will display the license agreement, prompt for a license key, and extract the files to a subdirectory named Lanvista-inForm-1.0.0.exe under the current directory.  This directory can be moved to any location on your filesystem.


4. Copy b>Lanvista.inForm.v1.0.0.dll to the the Microsoft Reporting Services binn folder.
5. To integrate Lanvista/inForm with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services copy PdfCoreProcessor.dll to the [mssql]/binn.

Entering & Updating Your License Key

During the installation process you will be asked to enter the OfficeWriter license key that you received with your order confirmation. Depending on which license key is entered during installation (or updated later with the license utility), different functionality will be unlocked for the product. If you leave the key field blank during installation, you will get Standard edition of Lanvista/inForm Publisher.

To run the license utility, do one of the following:

• From the command line, run the command:
• LanvistaInForm-1.0.0.exe -g
  to open the graphical license utility.
• LanvistaInForm-1.0.0.exe -u
  to open the command line license utility.

When you update a license key, the application server must be restarted before the new license will take effect.

Removing inForm

1. To remove the program, simply delete the Lanvista-inForm-1.0.0 directory.  Note that this will not remove copies of LanvistaInForm-1.0.0.dll and inForm-v1-License.dll that you have made elsewhere in the system, such as an Reporting Services binn directory.
